The Retail Banking segment offers deposits, housing loans, consumer loans, credit cards, funds transfer, and foreign exchange services, as well as other branch related services to meet the personal banking and consumer finance needs of individuals. The Asset Management and Private Banking segment provides investment products and services to institutional investors and intermediaries. The company also offers life and personal accident, healthcare, motor, marine, property, liabilities, and Takaful insurance products and services. In addition, BLOM Bank SAL provides capital markets and brokerage, and Islamic banking products and services; and online banking services. The company was formerly known as Banque du Liban et d'Outre-Mer and changed its name to BLOM Bank SAL in December 2000. BLOM Bank SAL was founded in 1951 and is headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon.
